Natural Wood Worktop Oil options
AURO Worktop Oil 108 – Contains a combination of natural oils like Castor oil, Linseed oil, Sunflower Oil, Tung oil – great for wood countertops, tables etc. It brings out the grain very nicely and gives a very natural look. Easy to apply. Once the oil has filled all the pores of the wood it will be fully sealed.
Biofa Worktop Oil – Finish for natural wood countertops. It has a food safety testing cert and can also be used for chopping boards. Easy to apply.
Natural Wood Countertop Cleaner
Washing it with the AURO Dishwashing Liquid 473 and water is a great natural cleaner.
Biofa Household Cleaner Spray or Biofa Nacasa Universal Cleaner diluted with water are ideal for cleaning oiled surfaces. They are free from free of chemical preservatives, chlorine, ammonium chloride and phosphate.
To ‘renovate’ parts of the counter where the oil has worn away: Clean the counter. Apply another layer of oil – it can even be partially renovated – for example – countertops that get a lot of wear in certain areas can be treated with the oil and will blend in with the rest of the counter. No need for sanding or any hardship. Very simple to renovate and keep looking new!
Natural Stone/Concrete Care
Biofa Stone Oil is a 100% natural treatment generally used to finish floors. It doesn’t have a food safety cert but is completely natural and the manufacturer is happy to recommend it for countertops as well. Can be used on concrete and all natural stone surfaces.
